application portfolio management (APM)
An application portfolio refers to the collection of business applications or systems used by an organization or an individual to support various business processes, functions, or personal activities. It encompasses the entire range of applications deployed within an environment, including both in-house developed applications and third-party software. The application portfolio is a valuable asset that helps manage, analyze, and plan for the effective use of technology within an organization.
business portfolio management (BPM)
A business portfolio provides a comprehensive overview of the businesses that an organization owns and operates. It's essentially a way to understand the breadth and depth of the company's offerings and how they contribute to its overall financial performance and market position.
In essence, the business portfolio provides a high-level view of the company's "big picture," while the product portfolio delves deeper into the details of its specific offerings.
technology portfolio management (TPM)
Technology Portfolio Management (TPM) is the strategic process of managing and optimizing an organization's collection of technology assets. It involves identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and governing the technologies that support business objectives.
TPM manages the entire technology landscape, not just software applications (like Application Portfolio Management). This includes applications, infrastructure, data, and technology services. It ensures technology investments align with the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
roadmap activity planning (RAP)
Roadmap activity planning is the process of taking the high-level goals and objectives outlined in a product roadmap and translating them into actionable steps. It's essentially breaking down the "what" of the roadmap (the goals) into the "how" (the specific tasks required to achieve those goals).
Provides clarity and transparency by outlining the specific tasks needed to achieve roadmap goals.
Makes resource allocation more efficient by estimating the effort required for each activity.
Fosters communication and collaboration by providing a shared reference point for stakeholders.

A dashboard is a visual representation of key information, data, or metrics displayed in a centralized and easy-to-understand manner. It provides a concise overview of critical data points, enabling users to monitor and analyze relevant information at a single glance.
Dashboards can be customized to meet user specific needs and preferences, we recommend to focus primarily on displaying key performance indicators or metrics that are crucial for tracking the health and progress of a system, process, or organization.
Charts
Charts are graphical representations of data or information, designed to visually communicate patterns, trends, comparisons, and relationships. They provide a clear and concise way to present complex data in a more accessible and understandable format.
Create charts that are relevant to your organization, and share only with the relevant members concerned with these data metrics. Some of these charts in the dashboard can also be made available for all users.
Reports
Reports have a defined purpose or objective, whether it's to provide information, analyze data, evaluate a situation, present research findings, or propose changes to users.
Create reports that are relevant to your organization, and share only with the relevant members who need such report to do their work. Reports play a crucial role in conveying information, supporting decision-making processes, and documenting research or investigations.
